I fondly remember the day I sold my set of hardcopy 928 manuals to a Porsche dealer in Portland for a little over $500, then replaced them with a disk full of searchable PDF format manuals for $25. I thought I was brilliant. I also sold my factory 914 and 914-6 manuals.

Later I found I'd made a mistake, but that's another story. Sometimes computers aren't as convenient as they seem. On the upside, I don't have to haul the physical manuals from place to place anymore, so there's that?

The real reason behind selling the 928 was I decided to restore my dad's 1962 Lincoln Continental and it was one or the other for me. I may be back in a Porsche one day, we'll see.
