Hey look, if you kinda squint the 2004 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti looks like a 928!!
Just an observation. And if I knew how, I'd post a pic of one. . .

Re: Ferrari kinda looks like a 928
Looks similar to the artists concepts of what a new 928 would look like.

Ron H ..." .front engine behind the front axle and rear mounted transmission. Just like my car. " Ron you have a Corvette also ? Because the 928 engine is right on top of the front axle ........... Ferrari used the front engine , rear transaxle on the Daytona long before any 928 .........

Well at least I got the concept correct....maybe not quite in the right relative location...but that's what I meant. Front engine, rear transmission, which is what seems to make it so forgiving.
I followed one of the newer Ferraris once in 280, think it was a 456, and it was fast. He didn't want to play. Good attitude. Now I have been looking at them. Just a little short of funds at the moment.

That's funny. I was cleaning up the laundry room tonight and found a little Hot Wheels-type car one of my kids left on the floor. When I first saw it, I thought "Cool-- another mini shark to put on my desk!"
No such luck, it was a ferrari 456m, whatever the hell that is. Anyway, here's a pic of the real one:

That's the car I think, but the one I followed had a hood scoop, so maybe it was another model. Whatever .....it was a nice looking car, but so is a Mercedes SL. But when I sat in one or drove my mother's, I preferred my 928. I have not found another car that had such a perfect driving position as a 928....as long as I don't grow taller than my 6 feet. Has anyone driven a Ferrari 456? Or the other big GT model? I would be interested to know the reaction vs. a 928.

I think the best looking car of all time is the Miura. A HUGE reason I love the 928 so much is because the design of it's headlights is so much like the lambos. Anyways, I see 968 with this Ferrari more than I see 928.
