For 16's I like the Yokoham's the best. I used Toyo's as well but I thought they were a bit soft

Another for the Conti DWS - on my 2nd set- they wear well, relatively quiet, good traction (a geezer's demands aren't that high, of course). They will be the 3d set.

Pirelli P Zeros are the most attractive + performance, and near top in cost. Never thought about "attractive" factor? Check them out; it can come into play for some people. However they do have some road noise. Purely on basis of reputation, whatever that is, I choose Michelin "Z" rated tire because Michelin equipped the SST which is no longer flying, but was recommendation enough for me. You don't say what your needs are. Ride? Grip? All weather? I believe Tire Rack has a grid that rates various features mentioned above and more for most all tires on the market.

There are threads here that discuss road noise, etc., if those issues concern you, you may want to search.
