Default Replacement Tool Kits

Hey Guys, this is interesting.
Link to aftermarket/reproduction tool kits, I'm assuming. But listed on site as "Genuine Porsche", so...maybe.
Still, priced ok compared to trying to track down and buying individual components.
I have seen some pretty steep asking prices for an original sets, which are only getting rarer.
This might be a fall back option.
Listing says specific for S3, not sure which tools changed during production MY's?

The pliers don't look anything like OEM (at least I don't think they would fit in the factory tray), but the rest could pass.

I've reviewed this set.
Wrenches have different markings but should fit
Red screwdriver is incorrect for many reasons but should fit
Pliers should fit once grip is removed and would match early. To match late, would have to plasti-dip handle in red. Not sure if this one is marked "hapwe" like original.
Tow hook is 20mm and should fit 84>, but not earlier.
Everything else looks okay, except pitch the black handle screwdriver.

This is p/n 92872100506, supposedly for
85>

There is a toolkit listed for <85, p/n 92872100505, but I don't know anything about it.
Only real difference would be the 15mm tow hook, p/n 92872210103, for 79><84

As an aside: I love the factory spark plug tool. I use it every time, but spark plugs are not a "side of the road, emergency repair, I gotta get this bugger slapped together to make it home" issue. Never understood why it was included in the roadside tool package.

I have a couple of pairs of the pliers which do not fit. I will try Jim's idea of removing the handles and red plastic dip.

I had to remove plugs to purge water out of the combustion chambers when the headgaskets in my 81 went. It allowed me to finish the 300 mile drive home without issue.

You never know when you will need to pull a plug.

Still the best tool to replace sparkplugs in a 928 with as far as I am concerned.

this thread makes me want to dig my 928 tools out of my toolbox. I know I have all of them. Tool tray is long gone
