Default CR-1 Stuck Cassette

Got CR-1 out and top off. Any help in steps to remove cassette adapter (that won't eject normally) would be appreciated. Don't want to screw up the radio and CD functions which work perfectly.

Not sure on the CR-1 but most cassette decks had a small hole somewhere on the front where you could insert a thin paper clip (opened up of course) and push to manually eject the cassette..
good luck ....

If you're intending to actually use the CR-1 regularly they have about a dozen capacitors that are near/at the end of life, I would just send it out and have it gone through completely. I'm a fan of Creative Car Audio in Brea, CA. Massoud has done 3 or 4 CR-1s for me and others locally.

The 'catch' of caps from mine:
