My first thoughts we’re Audi RS2 as well. The resolution is better in the jalopnik article and that looks to me like a Volvo 480 which would fit with this being taken around 1986.

Porsche subbed 959 assembly to Baur, and 928s were built on the main Zuffenhausen line.
