Default Aftermarket CIS injectors

Has anyone tried the BWD replacement CIS injectors?
I should have asked this question before ordering a set but they were not that expensive.

We have sold tons of them and I have them on a couple of my cars - my price $22.95 each

Roger you sell the BWD 57708 part?
I made an assumption that this is not the Merk short injector substitute but the proper OEM length.

I was referring to the short version that everyone uses.
I sell the original CIS injector for $35 if for some reason you need the original length.
I see the 57708 as a Bosch CIS injector at about $30 but never heard of it as being used as an alternative.
I believe most do not use the original because of the price and the success of the alternative.

Interesting info. The BWD site lists this as an exact replacement for the 928, but it’s hard to tell what will show up. I will report back when I have them in hand.

Brian.

I chased the BWD number through the system and it eventually cross references to the original Bosch number for the 928 CIS injector - you should be good.

Not a bad find then! Thanks for the research.
Quality may be less than a Bosch unit but for just getting the fuel system sorted it fits the bill.

I think you will find they are the original Bosch injectors not an aftermarket brand.

The pic I found on one site looks like the correct original length, but I have never heard of any complaints about the short MB brass injector. I have 4 spares of each type on hand now, but no current problems.

I have used BWD fuel injection parts on both my 79 and 86.I usually find it is a reboxed bosch part in the box.Found someone on ebay about ten years ago closing out a BWD warehouse. Scored 5 MAF's for the 86 @ 50 bucks each.Brand new all shiny Bosch units in the boxes
