86 and older 928's had a light blue color called iris blue (later models "S4s" it was a darker blue)....saw it on a local 85 and looked similar to yours.
Check out the landshark OZ colour page to see if you can narrow it down... http://www.landsharkoz.com/colourstart.htm

I had an iris blue metallic 86.5 - it is a very light blue, not like the iris blue of the later cars, which is dark and deep (like Randy V's car, I think). I always thought it was funny that Porsche had two different colors with essentially the same name. The car here is the darker blue, like a gunmetal. I forget the color but it is beautiful. Here's a pic of my 86.5 iris blue metallic (in the foreground)
*** Put the year of your car in every post. Easiest way is to include it in the signature section. Click on the "User CP" tab, and look for "Signature" on the left-side menu list.
Rob Edwards has been supporting the 928 VIN and Options List thread here, and there are many others scattered around the interwebz. Share your VIN, and find out what was there when the car left the factory.

Keeerect! For just a few measly dollars a year, you can avoid the pain and frustration of having to type all that info into EVERY POST. Who you are, what you are driving and working on, location, etc, all handy membership fringe benefits. Click on the "membership" tab in the banner bar, and be on your way to fewer embedded links, plus lose that annoying keyboard wear...
Actually I have been trying to work out the signature block process.
Prob time to be a member. I have been getting good help on here a few times.
Thanks everyone.
