FWIW, I had to replace mine almost immediately after the car adopted me over 20 years ago. The replacement piece was under $5 -at the local dealer- way back then. I eliminated the hard plastic hose/pipe section between the Y and the canister, and secured all the hoses with cable ties so there is no stress/loading on the plastic Y. That one is still in service with no durability issues.
