The "While You are In There" list
I get asked a lot of "what else should I do while i am in there..." about various 928 items.
I thought this would be a helpful list for the 928 owner from those of you who have the most experience with your 928.
Please post your "while you are in there ideas" below.

MOTOR MOUNTS
If you are going to replace your motor mounts, consider these items also "while you are in there"
If you are going to replace your motor mounts, consider these items also "while you are in there"
- Check your steering rack mounts. This is a good time to replace them.
- Replace or at least retorque your oil pan gasket if its leaking
- Check your shifter ball cup if your car has a manual transmission. Replacement is easier while the motor mounts are out.

Add power steering filter, power steering hoses, tie rods and ends, and lower balljoints to the MM's WYAIT list if the originals are over 75k old. That stuff is all dangling when the rack and crossmember are out.

Front Suspension: consider doing tie rods and lower ball joints together. Then you only have to have one alignment done, rather than doing them separately and needing multiple alignments. Costs more initially, but saves money and your time in the long run. The next easy WYAIT to add-on would be the front shocks and upper ball joints, if needed.

Depending on how WYAIT you want to go and the miles on the engine...
If your'e doing MM and the OPG needs replacing consider replacing the rod end bearing shells and use new cap bolts.
