Wrecked 89 S-4 (Parts available)
Hello all,
Armaggedon happended last month and I totaled my 89 S-4. The good news is that I am OK... the machine really showed why German Enginering is so great.
As the car has been settled with the insurance company... I am possession of the remains of the car.
I have many parts available here is short list of those parts some of you may immediately be interested in with notes:
- 5.0 L engine no mods: Leak down compression tested in DEC 03, results were near perfect.
- (4) Speed Tranny 2.54 rear end with LSD
- (4) GTS 996 wheels... brand new front tires (Mid Dec 04) Rears about 4 months old
- (4) S-4 Dial wheels
- (4) Forged Aluminum Porsche Crested center caps
- Front GTS brakes (rotors resurfaced in Mid Dec 04) new pads
- Bilstien Eibach HD less than 6 months
- 1 Silver RMB
- Oil Pan with GTS splash guard
- Devek Aluminum Radiator about 1 year old- with Fluid resevior
- Momo Club 4 Steering Wheel- Also have orginal wheel
- Momo Porsche Crest Horn button
- Aluminum Momo Auto Shifter.
- Front Spoiler used with crack (repaired/ ready to mount)
- Orginal Porsche CD-1 player... with amp.
- Dash has minor imperfections (burgundy) no major cracks
- POD I will have to check for cracks
- Orginal spare and jack and crowbar.
or anything else you may need to keep your 928 new.
Adjuster gave my car a very good condition rating. I purchased the car for 18500 back in 1999 with 60,000 miles... the adjuster gave me 18500 for the car on Friday ... who says the 928 is depreciating rapidly.
IF YOU ARE INTERSTED IN ANY PARTS PM ME ASAP... car will be in my possesion for a short time then Mark Anderson gets it for hes new project car... just kidding... about the project that is...

Hi Chris, I also tried to PM you... I would like to know your prices for the rear axles, front or rear bumper covers (if they survived) and the GTS calipers? You can PM or E-mail (same as username @rennlist.net) me. Thanks, Joel

Hello CMW,
I'm sorry to read of your accident, but as you wrote, the main thing is that you were unscathed.
I sent you a PM, however it sounds as though you may not be receiving them. Please PM me with your e-mail address and I will forward my request.
Thanks in advance,
Mike

Glad to hear your ok and that you've chosen to let your shark live on by helping other ailing sharks!!!
Speaking of which I'm in need of headlights and driver/fog lights that fit in the front bumper.
I know someone has already laid claim to them but if you have a rear bumper cover I'm looking for that as well.
Also need some interior bits and pieces but I won't take up space here. Please send me a PM or email me at stevensup_ko@hotmail.com. Thanks

CMW,
You might want to include your personal email to ensure you get everyone's requests. Your PM's fill up quick when selling parts. The joys of receiving so many emails...
