I am looking to purchase a 928 (1988-1993) with a manual transmission. When I find one I want to purchase I will want to have a technician do a thorough inspection of the car. So far I have found 2 I am interested in, one in Atlanta and one in New York. So how do I source a local technician that can provide the service I am requesting?

Look at the 928 Owner's Club forums - they have local contacts across the country, and someone in those areas may be able to help you as well. Also, 928 Motorsports site used to have a link with good 928 shops nationwide. Try that site too, although it might not be up to date. If Philly is an option, there is Stan - MrMerlin here.
