Default 928 S4 foglamps - any difference around the world?

My first post as a 928 owner. It's been six years since I've been here (sold my 944 TS back then) - good to be back.

I have an '88 S4 that needs a passenger-side foglamp assembly replacement. Is there any difference in these between NA, Japan and Euro-spec cars?

The US market and ROW foglamps are significantly different. Good discussion of them here:

And..up until 1993, they were required to be yellow as well.

OEM parts baby. No Ebay required.

I didnt understand the "LOL" given that...he wanted to know difference, and I presented some data for that.

Roger,

For grins, what are the S4+ replacement lens assemblies selling for these days? Are the Euro versions (fog and aux main beams swapped) any cheaper than the US parts?

Sorry for all the confusion.

My question was about the differences between NA, Japan and ROW fog lights as I have a NA car that was sold to Japan and is now in Canada that needs a passenger-side fog light glass. So before I try to source a glass (on Rennlist, eBay, kijiji or wherever) I was trying to clarify if there were different parts between markets so that I didn't accidentally purchase the wrong one.

The LOL was because the French version is obviously significantly different than any other market. And so I would be sure not to try and get a replacement glass from ebay.fr.

Your France-spec lights are lovely btw. I don't think they'd pass muster in Ontario sadly.

The only difference is NA v ROW (apart from yellow for the French 928's).
Also no difference LHD v RHD.

Here's a US driver's side vs. a ROW passenger side foglamp:

ROW:

US:

And the backsides:

The ROW fog uses two identical reflectors per side, while the US model uses two different reflectors:
