Default RDK Bypass Surgery

The 928GT site says the part # is 928 618 150 01/00.
I am looking at a box about the size of a deck of cards, above the clutch pedal but the # is 928 618 "136" 01. Am I not looking hard enough?

Also any helpful hints on replacing the clutch arm bearing?

Thanks

The part number 928 618 "136" 01 shows to be some sort of control unit
for the power mirrors. For a '91 you are still looking for the part number
928 618 150 01. Try looking more around/above the steering column.

The box is usually on the left kick panel.

Under the pod. See picture attached. Red line is on the RDK connector.

Bump on old thread because:

the guide at http://jenniskens.livedsl.nl/Technic...k%20bypass.pdf is a good but there is one fundamental problem - the box is located (at least in MY89) under steering axle, adove brake pedal and *NOT* above the bonnet release. The box in driver's footwell above bonnet release is ABS unit :-)

regards, one happy MY89 w/o RDK light

The problem isn't the guide hosted by Theo. Thats exactly where it is on my '89 too; the problem is your car isn't RHD
