Northeast PCA Concours - results 2nd place
We had the NE Concours this last Sunday and had a great turn out. Just over 100 Clean and shiny Porsches came out to play. There were 9 cars in the Transaxke class with three 928s. Mine, Bob Britton’s 78 one family owner car and the recently purchased 1987 19k miles black on black 928S4 bought on BAT last May ($50+k). As always I fought it out with my friends 1983 944. He is the original owner and retired the car some years ago and has pretty much completely redone his car...it’s amazing. 83 944 - 298pts vs my GT 297. I ending up judging for 4 hours in the 88 degree sun, but had a great time. James Wood (actor) had his Parade winning burgundy 911 there which took first in his class.
Brian (BRB-83-911SC) also came but we couldn’t convince him to bring his beautiful 84 Euro to the judges field!
The local Porsche dealer had all kinds on new P cars on display and all in all a great day.
Also had 14 356 Porsches all lined up!

Bob's car looked as great as ever - bummer about coming up 1 point short of 1st place. There were many very nice cars, and it was obvious how much love many of these cars receive. The lone 914 was about as nice as they come - stunning in every detail - makes me want one.
I didn't want to over work the judges by giving them so much to pick apart on my car

I completely agree with Alex. I recall see pics from a post earlier this driving season with your GT at a DE event in the rain. How many of those other cars can claim that. Way to represent!

2nd place? Your car sucks! Just junk it, if this is the results.
