I just "took over" building our harnesses myself...and made some changes to improve them, beyond what they were. It's now difficult to distinguish my harness frim the original Porsche harness, which is very important, to me.

I would really love to have the original boot with the three pins on the "late" harness, just for originality sake (and to save $100 buying a new sender with two connectors.) Additionally, I doubt that Porsche added that ground wire because they ran out of things to do and decided to build a new sender and a new loom.

They had a reason....

Did you tell Porsche Classic we needed these plugs? I'd love to be able to use them as I already have the wiring for them, and do put them on when customers send me their good ones.

I've made a few that use the plastic tubing like the original ones and keep it in stock, but dislike using it as I like the more modern stuff. Actually do not get any requests for it but happy to do so. I enjoy making the harnesses to when one is ordered, it's a nice change from the "normal" work.

I did not. I think I overwhelmed them, as it was.

There were over 30 928's here, the day they visited. They were a bit flabbergasted that anyone was
doing what I was doing.

When they asked how much money I spent buying parts, they about fell over, in surprise.
