Default Time for another???

I thought after the first infection the body (or brain) would developed some kind of immunity.
I guess not....
My current, 83S Euro, bought really cheap (CL), drove it home, nice driver, marginal (good original but multiple rock chips) paint, just ok interior, mechanicals good, just neglected.
Done with suspension, done with brakes, got the last parts needed for timing belt.

Ran across a 91S4, mid 80k m, air not working, nice original paint and interior, but salvage title do to theft and recovery when new.
any thoughts on value?

91 is a much different car than an 83 Euro. I had an 80 Euro with CIS and I sold it because it was so different than the rest of my cars. That's just me though.

As long as you plan on not reselling it with the idea of making a lot of money, and as long as it makes you happy, go for it.

Just make sure that you check for Thrust Bearing Failure before you buy it. Your 83 should have the circlip protection against TBF, the 91 won't.

The 91 is basically a GTS with a 5.0 engine.

It is much more complicated than your 83 and will drive you up a wall with the parts costs and NLA components.

I would finish your 83 as it will be just as quick as the 91 with around the same HP and less weight. It also has simpler systems that are much less likely to fail.

I learned this when comparing my 81 to my 89. The 83 euro to 91 is an even bigger jump in complexity.

With no pictures on that 91 I would say $12K sounds about right for the price with the issues it has that you described.
