My manuals only goto '85.
An example of missing updates is the clutch pedal preload adjustment which was changed for all model years in 1991.
Could someone possibly send this to me in an image format
(if it no trouble, as I don't have PDF yet)? Thanks.

Jim, Pm me. My shop manuals are at the 'shop', and I need a better resource at home. Thanks.

Definitely. I have two manuals for GTS, german and english. Don't want to ruin either of them using them in car. Already started scanning same page open from both to single A4 page so that it's easy to use result as translator from german to english. My cars displays are german as default. Will use jumper trick to change to english once it's running again but in meantime need easy translation.

By the way Jim, how's next version of Tech Pubs CD's coming?

Erkka

Jim..please send me your email address so I can mail you the pdf section.

Errka,
It's about ready. I found two new manuals so I'm including those. Tmax has been working on a really slick autorun interface that would be a real boon for those who are not very computer literate and have trouble finding/opening files. It's very nice looking (flash). But I hate to wait for it after delaying the version 2 release this long so I"m going to ask all holders of version 1 if they want to wait or if they want the update in the same format as version 1. There is an autorun that opens an html file w some explanations and notes but I didn't link to any of the individual files. So if you have version 1, tell me if you want:

-version 2 NOW w/o the flash interface
-do you care if you have labels on the CDs (as opposed to marker)
-would you rather have them on a DVD-R

Feel free to email me at jim928@ptd.net..I'm going to try to get a mass email out tonight since I really should verify mailing addresses anyway.

Hi: Never used Rennlist or any other forum, so I'm not even sure I'm sending a message to Jime Morehouse. I just bought a '78, 928 with a 5 speed that has a failing(?) 2nd gear synchro. Ok on upshifts but I know Im going to need to tear it apart sometime. What I'm looking for a shop manual that covers the rebuilding of the tranny, as well as some of the other quirks you would expect from a 26 +/- year old car. Is will the CD set cover it?

Don't know how to do it, but I have a scan of my 1978 owner's manual that came with the car. It's in really good shape, but don't know if it is possible to email the pdf files....anyone know how to do it.?

Thanks Keithart...

Yes, I'm interested in more info. Is it a subscription service or do you just have to know where to look?
