Another at RA; looks almost factory, don't ya think?

Two days later I raced the YZF-R1 Superbike and beat him twice.

One more. By the way, all Road America pics were taken by Ernest Wong, a real 928 enthusiast:

Damn Lag, that does almost look stock.

11 PSI on yours, but 8 on Gretch. Are you just being more aggressive or different setup?

Also, what has day to day driving been, I'm NOT a wrench at all, how much fooling around has been necessary.

Seth, the GT has 10:1 compression ratio. I chose 8psi Based on Lag's calculations, and Tim's recommendations, which I specifically asked for. I am just being careful not to generate too much heat in the combustion chamber.

is that a super fmu you're using? if so, did you eliminate the stock fuel pressure regulator?

Don't want to speak for Lag, but yes to both questions, as regards Tim's kit. Install Super FMU and remove stock FPR.

I have found no problems yet. I am almost done with the first phase of the install, ie the fueling alterations. I had guests this weekend so I didn't get a lot done (FMU and bracket mounted to fire wall) . Next weekend I am out of town. I should be able to button up the fueling phase the following weekend and start the mechanicals install (blower, pulleys, oiling, crank case venting, ect). Then on to the aftercooler. Lots of fun, and I always intended to "dawdle" over the project in part to become more familar with the engine bay of my GT.

Part of the problem is the WYIT factor...... cleaning, new plugs, fancy wires, redo vacume hoses....... The car is up for the winter any way so everything on the list will get done before April.
