'Ring' trim around sunroof..

The material from the headliner, is wrapped up to the sunroof level, as you look down to the roof of the car.

Unscrew the sunroof rails and the silver strip behind the opening, and in all that black goo is the goop holding down the folded up headliner material.

ill post some pics when I get my U- trim. I think it will work pretty well.

yall check my thread here for infor about the headliner I made. It cost me all of $50 for brand new.

Thanks guys, I understand it now.
For removal on the one I'm doing, so as not to destroy the Plastic "L", I'll cut the vinyl where it's glued to the metal

Im not _saying_ that the vinyl laid around up there a tarred down, with the metal parts attached down on top of it help secure or stabilize the headliner...

But I would second guess the urge to just trim it out to avoid the black tar baby up there you'll have to deal with.
