Default AC: Is this what is referred to as the long pipe/hose?

Combination of Parts #27 & 31 with 27 going to the Fuel Cooler.
Starting my AC rehab and want to replace hose sections with barrier type hoses.
Has anyone removed it without removing the engine?

Please and thanks.

27 can be removed w/o removing the engine. Not sure why you’d want to though, it’s a hardline throughout. Number 21 is the one that cars with rear air have to have the engine removed. Just did one and we know how WYAAI goes. Ended up rebuilding the engine and doing a lot of mods to the heads with GT cams. All started because of that damn line.

What Sean wrote-^. Rob Edwards did it but had to bend the line.

You can replace the rubber section of that line without removing it if you have (or rent or steal) a hydraulic crimper (and buy the right replacement barrier hose and ferrules.)
