Default 82 Cluster lamps

82
Is there anything new to simply replace the dash illumination green bulbs for plug and play? I have an unmolested 82 that the owner who is 75 can’t see the gauges at night. I have modified in the past with Led style but do not want to do any modifications just replace with LEDs.

best bet put deoxit 100 on the bulb connections then replace the lamp rheostat this should restore full lamp brightness
NOTE add the deoxit to the rivets in the rheostat, it might smell till it burns off but this will prevent corrosion in swages

PM me your address and I'll send three led lights. They aren't overly bright but make a world of difference. Looks brighter in the pic.

Are those dim-able by using the stock thumb wheel?

The dimmer was tested by bypassing the lans were cleaned, I believe the mirrored coating is degraded.

I'm asking Dewolf, if the LED's are dim-able?
Yes, bypassing the dimmer is a good way to rule out if it is holding back current to the stock lamps and causing them not to be bright.

By the dim-able LED's and you won't be pulling the pod again

These new ones also are not polarized and are dim-able
