Kobe's the one that most 928 owners in Houston use.
Another 928 leaving Texas
O-Well, at least we'll know where it is and that it's going to a good home!
Congrats on the buy and welcome back to the Rennlist.

I think you will be happy with Koby Motors. Paul Koby is a long time Houston 928 guru, althought he has turned over much of the work to his assistant Achilles. Achilles seems very competant and what I like most, he will take all the time you want to discuss the details of the job. The shop is not fancy at all, but I think that probably helps keep prices reasonable.
I've never used them for the timing belt, but have for several other jobs, always satisfied.

SON OF A BIT**.
I had that car. I had to hang up to take an emergency patient call. Called back in 15 minutes and you had a deposit on it.
Best of luck to you.

Thanks, Curtis. The fun ride has hardly begun -- I'm waiting till tomorrow morning to actually hit the road (my buddy here swore that I'd hit black ice if I left today!).

What a ride! Got out of horrible rush hour traffic on the westside of Houston at 6:30 PM Thurs. and arrived in Portalnd at about 6:40 PM Sat.
LA was freaking hillarious! Going into LA on 10 at around 8:30 PM Fri. night was a BLAST. These people take crazy to a new level! Jeeps, p/u's, corolla's, you name it they got the peddle to the metal, 5-7 lanes wide WOT suv's does not make me totally comfortable but it sure helped my trip time. Going out of LA on 5 was about the same way. Stopped just S. of Bakersfield, back on the FW at 6:30 Sat. morning and immediately hooked up with some more crazies. Gave me a chance to run at 150 a few times and 110 lots. Phoenix and Houston get my award for heavy traffic, I suppose it's all in the timing.
