T Colvin - I've pinged the Admin to add Rennlist Member designation - I do not have that capability. Thanks for your support of Rennlist. Sorry for the delay - most Member designations are added automatically upon sign-up, but occasionally one slips through the crack.

Hyperfish - ummm, **** off, ya ******. Gutsy enough for you?

ROFLMAO! Actually, thanks for showing how truly immature you really are.

And THAT was the best your pubescent little mind could dream up?

Priceless...

I got Jim's CD about a month ago. If anyone is wondering, so far I have found it worth TWICE what I paid.

Jim's work is great. I love the CD's. They were well scanned so I didnt mind forking over the dough, but lets not get too flamey. I think, personally, that information on these cars should be free to any owner who works on them if we don't mind stealing porsche's copyrighted material. I guess my point is that I paid Jim and won't make copies of his work because I respect the work he put into it. But I could argue just as strongly to print out 1000 and drop them from a plane over my local city.

As long as it's okay to steal from porsche, well, its okay to steal from Jim... that's logical anyway - just not very high on integrity.

CD's: I keep three copies of the Manuals on cd in the rear trunk of my '85.

Copy one is mine, in case I break down in some distant city, and need to rely on a mechanic who has not worked on these cars before. I go NOWHERE without my laptop, but if I get somplace and don't have it...all I need is a computer and Adobe.

-Copy two and three is for people that I meet while out driving the car. If I run into some kid with a 928, and in conversation it turns out that he doesn't have the manuals on CD, then I give him a copy.

My generosity depends on the person- a kid gets copies, a rich old guy DOESNT. They all get a lecture on the value of Rennlist, of course!
