Sears Point Majors Race July 1st 2018 40 entries already
The SCCA Majors races (which are the qualifier for the SCCA national championships - the RUNOFFS) are being held at the end of the month at Sears. i got the 928 to be nationally classed finally after about 4 years of pushing them.... so, now it is legit. The race willl be bringing a lot of racers with some hot cars from all over. Vets, Vipers, cup cars, BMW PTG M3, and many others. should be an awesome event. we have already 40 cars signed up and the event is still 3 weeks away... that's going to be a lot of cars for Sears Point. If you guys want to come out and do a meet up, let me know.. might be a good excuse for a fun run. Let me know.

The Sears Point SCCA race weekend is only 10 days away.. i just was on the SCCA website, and there are over 330 entries racing!! HUGE. if you are around next weekend, come out. should be some great racing and a lot of very cool cars running. PLUS, its a hint of what is coming to the national championships in Oct.
Putting the new brakes on, got two new tires (2 used tires from my friend Kip Olsen) , so the car should be better than usual . But the field is tough, with the NASCAR types and the newer cup cars being classed with me in GT2.

Dude... I owe you $500. I donated the 84 black guy to the breast cancer folks awhile back. You had a blow-up about that time, kinda lost touch, good to see you back on the board.
Let me know how I can get you whole.
Mike
ps your PM storage is full.

new brake rotors new pads, and going out to terroize the freeway right now, to bed the brakes. new tires for the race, and new spark plugs. should be good for a second or so.
im amazed how well the Racingbrake.com rotors lasted. after two seasons, i bought new ones and was going to change them after autoclub speedway in January, but they never seemed to go bad and the little cracks didnt get any worse. i knew they were not going to last a few more weekends, and the pads were getting down to 5mm, so i yanked them today. everything looks so much better with these rotors. the heat seems to be dissipating through the aluminum hats more and the pads dont seem to be as "cooked " as they usually look after the abuse they have taken.
should be good for the weekend, one more qualifying race at Laguna and then the National championship Runoffs. cant wait...........Hold together Nelly!

Hey there Mark! So the big race that you'll be in is on this coming Saturday at 12:40 at Sears Point? Is there any entrance fee?
I may well try to swing by... would love to see your race (especially since I showed up TOO LATE and missed your race last time!!!)
Cheers!
