My, my Grand Ma. Your threaded collars are so long.
I don’t recall seeing those before. But, I’d like to again. Anyone know the source?

I might be wrong but these do not look like they are for a stock 928,
the threads are too long and coarse, not to mention whats holding the threaded portion on the shock body?
and the rear shocks do not have the offset lower fitting,
typing in the part number does show the 2 parts are for a 928 but whats with the threaded collars.
Maybe this is to fit non stock springs and perches

No, just bend the pin in the section where it passes through the shock.

Heres a used set:

(My used ones)
I went to new Boges to get 'that' ride back, and to get another part OEM on the car.

Those are our ride height adjustment collars for the Porsche 928.
They have 5" of thread on them, allowing for 3" of range. With these collars installed, you can lower your 928 up to 2" or raise it up to 1" The are heat-shrunk on to the Kni by us before we ship them. This is to keep them from turning when you turn the spanner nut.
