Sterling --
Find and install some factory dust boots, or adapt a set of the off-road style bellows boots to protect the rods and seals. I know you don't drive the car a lot, but you probably do wash it once in a while, so corrosion on the precision-ground rod is a concern.
On the factory front setup, as you surely know, the threaded sleeve is extremely short. The collar sits below the ring and therefore below the support on the shock body. Not sure how far your long sleeves fit down over the protrusion on the tube. This will be critical to getting the correct amount of spring on there and the ride height correct.
Surprised your vendor is non-responsive. He's usually pretty quick. Sometimes weekends are tougher when the shop is closed.

Hey Sterling, just saw this thread. I'm sorry I did not know you have been trying to reach me with your questions.
We replaced our whole phone system in the 4th week of December just because it was dropping VMails, but I have no idea why I did not see your emails. Sorry!
Shooting me a PM or posting "928 Motorsports" on this thread would have also reached me.
To all: when customers buy our Koni/Hypercoil kit complete, we heat-shrink our threaded ride height collars on to the shocks for the customers so the shocks are ready to install the moment they arrive.
When fitting these parts to Koni's you already own, there can be a few issues you have to work through as Sterling has done here. Instructions for how to use your wife's oven (at your own risk) is downloadable
here: https://928motorsports.com/installpd...vesInstall.pdf
PS: Coleman is not our manufacturer for the ride-height adjustment sleeves. They were a little too tight for our liking, and as Sterling has mentioned, too long in the front. We have our own made just for the 928.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have further questions now or when you begin installing your 6-speed.

Good. Just want to make the point Colin likes to send folks to Coleman as he thinks that's who makes our sleeves, and they are not; and the ride height sleeves from Coleman require modification before you can use them.
Again, sorry I did not get your message faster. Would have been happy to help you out.

Incorrect again.
I send people there there to buy the parts because if the person chooses a different route they will actually take them back without having to fight through their credit card to get their money back.
Also Coleman’s upper spring mounts are a better design and work regardless of the weight of spring one wants to run.

I have never seen an upper spring perch for the Porsche 928 at Coleman, Colin.
Our upper spring perches are custom made for us from dies we cast from the OEM parts. They are a perfect fit.
But I understand where you got this misinformation. I can see a receipt for a suspension set you purchased from us in 2007 and Coleman was listed as the manufacturer of the whole kit, when in actuality, they only make the spanner nut for us. That error has been corrected.
