Have a friend that wants wheels done. Always good getting references from Rennlisters.
Thanks in advance.

I've used them before and the last time I talked to them they told me they used powder coating instead of paint on their repairs.

Wheels America does okay work. I've used them quite a few times back in Chicago. They will remove the tire, strip the wheel, refinish/repair, repaint, mount and balance the tire, for about $115 each. You can probably negotiate an even better deal if you bring them a bare wheel with no tire.I just looked up some reviews on the Dallas location and they seem to be mostly negative... BUT they do hundreds of wheels a week, so if there's only 13 bad reviews for a company that big (refinishing wheels is literally all they do), I'd take it with a grain of salt.
I have also used Powder and Protective Coatings of Texas, which is a wonderful family-owned business that has no issue doing small one-off jobs for customers who are not requiring industrial-level volume of work. The work I requested wasn't for wheels, but I saw a few sets while I was there and some of the finished products they had laying out looks great. They took a fireplace surround from me and only charged me $50 for oven time to bake it after I applied my own high-temp rattle-can spray coating. They are VERY fair priced, and will do whatever it takes to make the customer happy. I would 100% use them again for my powder coating needs.

They powder coated the wheels for my TR4 about 2 years ago. Excellent work and reasonable pricing.
