Question VIN Lookup Help

Where can I get a Free VIN lookup that describes everything included in my 1990 Porsche 928 S4? VIN = WP0JB2926LS860251

The VIN doesn't actually tell you all that that much, year, serial number, safety equipment and some engine distinctions. The options sticker will tell you much more (if its still there). Drivers door jamb should have additional build date & color details.

Impressive - so that is a Porsche data look-up by VIN. Is this a facility available to general users like us? are $$ involved?

Standard VIN checkers simply don't have the ability to dig into manufacturers records - only the coding associated with the VIN digits.

I've got someone on the inside...not general user use unfortunately. Everyone needs a 19yr old daughter being trained by the factory to work in a classics restoration facility.
