Flywheel Lock Location - Changing timing belt
Hi All,
At the risk of sounding like I should not be attempting to change my own timing belt I must ask this one simple question...
Where is the flywheel lock location? I was able to get to the point where I set the timing to 45 BTDC and now that its time to lock the flywheel I don't know where it is. I have my car up on a Snap-On scissor lift and its possible the lift is covering up the location. The front part of the lift's frame runs across the bottom of the car right underneath the starter. If the flywheel lock is located there I don't know how I'm going to get to it.
Thanks

Dwayne has a picture about 1/3rd the way down his Timing Belt/Water Pump page: http://web.archive.org/web/201605231...0Procedure.htm It's an awesome step-by-step tutorial with torque specs, etc.

I found it! My lift frame was covering the location. I lowered the car back down and was able to reach it from the passenger side.
Thanks for your help!
