Interesting, as the location of the car doesn't have harsh winters, wonder the story on why/how they ended up on the car?

They are alloy. I have a set to put on my 87 924S.

They are painted cast aluminum and 7x16 for the 928. They popped up in Porsche N A obsolete inventory sales years ago......Very rare wheels not necessarily desirable but rare

It would be fun to have them installed on a concourse car, something different.....confuse the judges

Those are very special wheels manufactured by Porsche Motorsports division. They're only given as gifts to other people, never used by the buyer. Their purpose is to overheat the brakes and melt the pads on competitor's cars.

Well, some of them are. My set is 7 by 16, ET65 for the front and 8 by 16 ET 52.3 for the rear.
