I got the opportunity to buy those wheels 7x17 front and 9x17 rear, bolt pattern 5x130, code 993.362.124.00 The offset look like 55 on both size. I am looking to put them on a 1988 S4 without any modification. I believe the front offset should be 65.
I would like to know if that gonna work?
If I install spacer do I need longer bolts?
Thanks in advance

IMHO, I would not use those wheels on a 928, they were designed for a rear engine car, not a front engine car like the 928. Forgeting about the incorrect offsets for a moment, the 7" fronts are too narrow to be used with a 9" rear. Porsche never did that n the 928. The times they used 9" on the rear it was used in conjunction with an 8" front (CS/89 GT) or 7.5" on the GTS with a 9" rear. 7" with an 8" is OK.
I truly feel using that 7" with the 9" rear is going to cause negative handling issues and it is simply not worth it just because you found a good deal on a used set of 911 wheels. I have seen this mistake made over and over again over the last few decades.
Hope that helps,
Dave

I have been running the cup ones and cup IIs on my S4s and they are 7 1/2 front and 9 rear with 52 offset in front and 47 in the rear. I think they work just fine for everyday driving. The 55 offset of your 7s is even closer to the desired 65 offset and I don't think you will even notice the difference from 7 1/2 inches in front. I would say go for it.
P.S. You wont need spacers.

Ran 55 offset Boxster twists for a number of years. No issues with alignment or handling. Sold them years ago for about $600.00.
