It's CARB legal, you can do anything you want to an exhaust downstream of the cats. Noise ordinances notwithstanding, of course.

Wow there is a turn up for the book - something legal in CA - thanks for the clarification.

Not sure it is actually legal - CA law is 95db's and as of Jan 1 is an instant ticket (not a fix it ticket anymore). My son has a RMB on his S4 and I'd be very surprised if it was less than 95dbs especially under even moderate acceleration

Thanks, everyone for your knowledge. Now where the heck do I find the noise specifications for a NLA TechArt product?! TechArt in Newport couldn't even give me specs on their suspension parts ! Per their sales manager, "TECHART does not reveal information regarding the spring rates/spec ..." Oh boy.

@paalw - I currently have an exhaust system in place that I need to swap out … for future smogs, but I assume if I can do that, this will bolt right on. Back to you as soon as I can do my diligence!

My car has the RMB, X-pipe, and stock resonators. It'll wake the dead. Being deaf, I feel it more than hear it.

I’m surprised you still have it, shocked! I guess not many were around when TechArt was killing it with Porsche cars. Throw it up on eBay, much greater exposure there, it will sell.
