Recently they added the 171mph 928S4 video.

A couple of interesting comments from the users on this sight:

"A car that is so ugly its cool. I've always liked that car"

"That's soo funny, My Grand Prix can do that on the highway, shows how far we have come."

Pretty nice comments from the people on that site.
I think it is interesting that more general "car" people tend to respect the 928 more than other Porsche people.

Also, I agree that it is cool that some people are out there showing off what the 928 can do, because the factory sure isn't doing it. So it is up to us to show people what an amazing car it is. And that is where kudos go out to Mark Anderson, and Devek, and others, for getting these cars out in the public eye, on the racetrack, and even in the quarter mile, to show people that the 928 deserves a lot of respect for such an old bugger...

Interesting. Some idiot (blitzu) says his Grand Prix can do 172 mph on the street, ya right.

This entire video promotion clip is on the Video hightlight CD from last season. all speedGT races, plus TV commentary about Mark Anderson at all of his races, and all the incar hightlight footage.

Its our Disc 22 . Also available are the hightlights from 2003 on Disc 25

funny, the grandprix comment.

still, there are very few stock cars with the same mods as the Holbert S4 that can keep up on the race track. 18year old technology folks!!!
Put a lap on the 2002 TechMark M3 last SpeedGT, and beat a 2001 T1 corvette with the regional champ driving in Speed GT 2002.

for the money, you just cant beat a 928.

Just think if it was still produced!!!! ..hmmmmmm 550hp, etc

I still wonder how many actual 928 S4s they used to make the video. You can see the one on the salf flat without mirrors, etc. Then you can see him driving up (like he just finished the run) with a 928 with mirrors.

I have the VHS tape of that run. I forget where I got it...maybe ebay. It has a promotional video along with the run and comes in a white box with the Porsche logo on the front. The video quality isn't that great but it's still fun to watch from time to time.

The video on the CD rom is very good quality, and is the entire promotional video. Plus, you get all the racing stuff too!

it will play on any media player and is full screen video

"That's soo funny, My Grand Prix can do that on the highway, shows how far we have come."

The only way his Grand Prix will hit 170 is when shoved out the back of a C-130!

Most grand prix's I see on the street seem to be driven as if their owner sure believes that. Don't know what it is about those cars, but I've heard some people talk about them as if they're the automotive equivalent of a second coming.

Here is the Pontiac site. As you can see it is one of the high-end American buggies we build over here.

Be sure to view it with the proper reverence due a 170 mph Pontiac!
