Default Power mirror joystick switch

Hello,
I have an 82 and my power mirrors have never worked. I took apart the drivers door only to discover two of the wires, a brown and a yellow coming from the joystick are cut and don’t go anywhere. When I checked the wires coming into the door through the plastic tunnel I discovered three wires have been cut but none of those wires are brown or yellow...any thoughts 😀

Black white and gray with a green stripe have been cut.

Yellow and brown wires coming from switch have been cut.

I believe there's a round connector under the dash or in the door and the wire colors change in it.

See if this helps at all. I can't remember if these wire color maps were the originals or the screw together multi-pin connectors I upgraded too. I also though I had a picture of the back of the mirror joystick switch, but can't find it. The big and small round connectors in the 2 photos below are mirror related I believe.

Wire Mapping – small connector
Mirror Side to Harness Side
Black to Blue / Green
Blue to Purple / Red
Red to Grey / Black
White to Black
Brown to Brown
Brown to Brown

Wire Mapping – large connector
Car Side to Harness Side
Green / White to Green / White
Black to Black / Grey
Blue / Green to Black
White to White
Brown to Brown
