Default Pelican Parts...any good

I was wondering if any one has any experience with Pelican Parts. Their prices seem pretty reasonable. Thanks.

usually hang out on the 944 boards, so this might half a response

Pelican parts are awesome, they ship pretty promptly, they package well... also since you are in NV, shipping shouldn't be that bad.

Yep, they're very good - I order almost all my 911 parts from them, despite Tweeks being right here in IL.

My buddy has been buying 911 parts from them for years and says they've been great.

I think I bought stuff from them once. But what I would like to see is an online catalog with picks of all parts your browsing plus girls in bikinis on everypage. That should steal all customers to just one website.

Yes, they're good but when I price compare they are a bit to a lot more than most other vendors. Tweeks seems to be most expensive. If money matters, check out the large triumvirate.

My experience has been that if you know exactly what you want, then they are OK; if you need technical help, I would suggest staying away. I've bought stuff like interior trim bits, hardware, ignition rotor, and the like with no problem.
I did purchase the infamous "green wire" from them. It turned out to be defective, part of a bad batch from the factory, and there was no hassle at all returning it (although at first they wanted a restock charge which was later waived)

Not the cheapest. It's primarily a 911 store, but if you know what you want, they'll get it to you. I've ordered a few things without problems.
