I ran 12.76 @ 109.7 mph or 12.4 @ 112.9 in the quarter mile.

Doug is correct in that the vehicle weight entered into the unit only affects the horsepower and torque readings it displays, and that the measured times aren't affected.
G-Tech has a discussion board with different run files that people have posted. The board is at:
G-Tech discussion board
There aren't any 928 files there yet, but there are some for different cars. The software for viewing and comparing different run data files is a free download from G-Tech's web site, and you don't need the actual G-Tech unit to use the software. Here are four overlaid runs from three different Z06 Corvettes that are posted there.

ZO6 quarters
All the times I've ever been to the track in my 911 turbo (12.2@ 117), there was never a ZO6 to break into the 12's...there were even 3 buddies in a row, all, low 13's.
Mark. (happy to see the over-populated Vette suffer a bit)

Mark: Those charts above all have those Z06s doing the run with a 10"-14" rollout. (See on the charts where they all started moving before the time started at zero seconds) Add .3 to .4 seconds to the times that they'd be showing with a zero rollout, and they all end up in the very high 12's or so at best, which is more than close enough to what you were seeing, especially when you consider the possible weather differences.

BTW, I make no representations about dead on accuracy of these runs, but I think it is fun to compare various G-Tech runs between different vehicles. My very have 964 Cabriolet with 18 inch wheels and a huge stereo system does pretty darn well in comparison to other vehicles. I am about to install a Lenz system stand alone fule management system and should be able to get my numbers below 12, but this will come at a very substantial price. This car easily will have $ 25k in engine work just to produce those numbers. It would have been much easier and cheaper to go with a forced induction system, but there is a certain allure and driveability issues related to keeping this car NA. It is one hot little car. If I stripped some of the weight out of it, look out.

No, it's not a drag racing board, but it is a drag racing thread. Don't like it? Don't participate! It wasn't a drag racingboard when I've seen you post your 0-60 and 1/4 mile time claims in the past either.

Drag racing and buy a Nova. That is a self defeating comment. I buy Porsches because I love Porsches and love the way they drive and look. Nothing wrong with doing mods to increase the performance of the cars you already love. In fact, that is half the fun of owning Porsches, albeit the expensive part of Porsche ownership.
Nothing wrong with taking an ole beater 964 heavy cabriolet and amking it capable of beating bikes in the NA state. Once my Lenz system gets installed, I should be able to get real close to hanging with my TT. The straightline accelleration only enhances the overall pleasure of ownership and also give me a feeling of accomplishment. Its not like we are sacrificing the other Porsche attributes by making our cars quicker.

Well said Doug!!!!!! Almost all of us here on Rennlist , be it 911,944, or 928 want to increase performance. Some like it for DE, some Auto-X, and some drag racing, but virtually everyone here wants more power.
John, obviously the thread was on 1/4 mile performance, because that is one of the measurements that the automotive world uses. I think that Andy (and others with their respective equipment) has done one helluva good job designing/engineering/testing this set-up, and like it or not, 1/4 mile performance is part of it. I'm sure that you've at least "informally" tested the 1/4 mile performance on your set-up.

Is this a drag racing board all of the sudden? Go buy a bike or a 72 Nova if you want to drag out in a straight line, otherwise enjoy the car for what is it, a sports car.
0-60 times
then 1/4mi times
not braking distance turning radius, curb weightc etc..
0-60 and 1/4mile time are very relavant performance figures when evaluating a car. They arent the whole package but rank up there at the top.
What you said has no merit IMHO.
Run your car in the 1/4 mile then we will all have another "mod" for a base line PERFORMANCE comparison.

Andy,
Those are some impressive numbers for the 1/4 mile. Do you have a LSD diff, and what size/type of tires are you running?
I wonder what a 928 running 11-12 psi with a positive displacment blower would run in the 1/4? I would imagine even at 15 psi we wouldnt be able to break high 10's, but even low 11's would be incredible!
So who holds the record for a SC 928 1/4 mile?

LMAO John reports his own 1/4 mi times earlier in this thread.
Warren,
I do not have LSD. I was running Kumho 712s with normal street presssure, size 265 35 18.
I too woukl like to know who has the fastest 1/4 mi time in their 928.
When I was at Palmdale there were some kids there that told me they had seen a supercharged 928 there before. They said according to the owner the car was pushing 700hp. They said if they recalled correctly the car was blue. The owner was a rich guy with basicaly a huge complex of 928s. Anyone know who this could be and what was their 1/4 mi time at Palmdale?
Cheers,
Andy K

I know Marcus Hutchinson has run his SC 928 at the dragstrip.
For the "Hot Rod" article...
But apparently it had "teething problems", so the times were not great.
Here's the page:

Click on the "press here for video" link for the movie of the run...
