Point was, Lamborghini motors in marine use has been a thing since the 70's (unlike Porsche). I never said all were worth the time or effort

Which - is almost exactly what I said way back. Looked good, was an auto conversion, and not very fast. I didn't say they don't have marine works, as I was aware of it since the mid-80s.
Curious as to what the mods were done to it compared to a road going version. Is it possible to remove all marine mods and put it back to the road? At $1500 for and S4 engine, that is pretty good.
It is very likely engine is exact same as same period S4. Only difference is probably coding plug which was also used for Australian market '87-88 S4.
