There were several spouses last year, and I got feedback that the location and schedule was perhaps a little more spouse-friendly than most events of this sort. I think it's great to have spouses present - mine is looking forward to it! They're free, too. We'll try to have a list of things to do in the area, and maybe let them borrow our utility cars to get to them. But my wife has her art studio at the site, there are hiking trails out back, and there is Adirondack flora to examine - for which we authored a book (on Amazon). It just occurred to me that I have stack of unused promotional posters - every spouse will be given a set.

My wife will be coming along. She's also very artistic and loves to garden as well (terrible camper though).
I hope MrMerlin will be there, as my car needs to go home with him.

We have various indicators of Spring's arrival here. Today's is "ice out" on the lake. They've already put the boards in at the dam, to raise the lake to summer level. Nancy and I took the Sprite into town for lunch. And for the first time, I was able to air out the new garage, that is, the Camp 928 Clubhouse.
I can set ladders in dirt instead of snow, so it's time to get cracking on the siding. My concrete guys are working on a lot just down the road, and will be putting an apron in soon, and footings for a shed on the right - for the Unimog. Those concerned with a sink in the garage will be pleased with the tank stand I've had welded up.
Of course, there's nothing more important than finishing up the winter projects on the 928 and otherwise getting ready for Camp. Everything is going well at our end. If you're planning to come, better patch the holes in your tent or find a room. And register on the website (link below).

Five weeks to go! The town board OKed use of the town hall lawn. Nancy has designed this year's poster. Stickers on hand. Got a supplier for Saturday's box lunch. Ice is out on the lake, snow piles are gone. Birds are chirping. Roads have been swept.
Volunteer positions are available: Fun Run Dispatcher, Grill Captain (Friday evening), Lift Supervisor, Tech Session MC and Contributors, Wash Station Supervisor, others.
If you're coming, please know the Pine Tree is almost booked up (but there are other places to stay).
And please register so I know how much stuff to order. Hats are included this year (shirts available in some sizes).

Another Crazy Canuck just registered.
Looking forward to seeing you all again and checking out Curt's new "Clubhouse". Maybe I can apply for a "live-in" security guard, while I'm there ;-)
Hope Donald doesn't build a Wall to the north beforehand, to keep us out.
