Default Could this be a bad o2 sensor?

I posted this question after several races last year where my 02 sensor reader (AFR meter) is reading full rich 12:1 ratio, , as it does on the dyno as well in 4th gear, but on the track, it only reads this at WOT when in 3rd gear... for some reason, after 3rd gear, shifting into 4th WOT, the AFR hunts around wildly. (going full lean ,no reading, mid scale, etc.)
check out the video at near 4mins on and watch the meter stay at full rich (12:1) for 3rd gear, always, never changing, but then with 4th gear, it does this hunting around... however, after the main straight and just before the approach to the 1st turn, i am WOT and it does go full rich (blue color) before the braking zone... almost like it needed a rest to reestablish the correct voltage. OR high speed vibration is causing it to hunt.......(but in that final stretch, speeds are back to 150mph, so that cant be it)
some have said, this is how the 02 sensor can fail.... it is over 15 years old.. so maybe all the heat and flow after all these years has cooked it. it only started to be a noticeable problem at the middle of last season.
this only happens in 4th gear for some reason.
ideas??
I think i might have an old one laying around.. maybe i swap it out. ... the intersting thing is , i cant simulate this on the street or freeway. has to be at the track. 4th gear on the hyway, shows full blue and never changing. dyno same thing.
