Oil line threads / seat
When unscrewing the oil lines in the block a part of the threads / seat for the sealing broke off... any suggested fixes?

If you still have the ‘shard’ you can use JB weld.

clean the threads of the block, it is filled with green loctite from the factory, a small bent pick works well for this Acetone is good cleaner,
also use a heat gun to remove the en trained moisture,
you can see the water run out when you heat the block and the fitting, Also clean the fitting.
Get a new sealing washer ( preferably with a wider OD, ideal but not necessary>)
tape off the area around the hole and the other end of the fitting so the JB wont foul the adjacent areas.
NOTE you can microwave the JB or use a heat gun on it to make it more liquid so it will coat the surfaces.
use a Qtip and small screw driver to apply the JB to the threads you dont need gobs but you want it to cover ,
if you have the shard, fit that into place under the new sealing ring ,
then tighten the fitting and wipe off the extra, use Qtips.
Make sure that you dont have blob riding on the face of the threaded portion of the fitting , no need to have this inside the engine.

NOTE always counterhold the fitting when removing/ installing the oil cooler line nuts.
you want to make sure the fitting doesnt turn.
