Default Second Opinion On Distributor Cap

I have been cleaning different engine parts today and when cleaning the Distributor Cap is noticed that 1 point does not look very healthy. What do you guys think, fixable bu cleaning or do i need a new one?

I would say that cap is shot. Seems like that's a very hot spark. I don't know if it's normal or not. I don't have a lot of time on this board. I'm new here but I have a lot of 911 experience.

If it were mine, I'd replace it.

The distributor cap and rotor arm are consumable parts and need to be replaced from time to time- your cap looks well consumed. Replace both items and chances are you are good for another 10 years in that department..
