Spec says minimum height is 8.5” which is over 210mm, more than ground clearance of small Suzuki jeep! Did they fit under front jack positions without having to raise front slightly first?

I bought one of these as a replacement for a factory bottle jack in another vehicle. It does work well, except that compressing it does take a little effort. Some lube helps, but mostly it just needs to be worked up and down several times to start to loosen it up. The quality is about what you would expect. Serviceable, but not stellar. I would definitely trust it for at least half of its rating. More than that and I would be a little more cautious.

It does require significant clearance. I don't see how you could use it on a 928 without either jacking the 928 up first, or rolling the 928 up onto some ramps first. I wouldn't hesitate to use it for the 928 given enough clearance, though.

I use those all the time on a 4 post lift with a rolling jack. They're great.

FWIW, I saw a Powerbuilt jack (minor cosmetic differences from the one in the original post) at Tractor Supply a few days ago for $42.99.

So the 3 ton will fit under the engine and trans cross members, was looking for a simple jack solution w/ the tray?
Good to know thanks,

Dave

No, you do need to jack it up with an ordinary jack first.

That's how we use them. I have a 14,000# bendpak 4 post lift.
