Electric Fan is controlled by the following switches:
Intake Temp Fan switch (used for cool down), looks like you found that one and yes its always powered and has a separate fuse (note the same circuit is used for Trailer towing option, runs fan a about 1/2 speed

Coolant Temp Fan switch, this is the main one, its in lower left front side tank of Rad.
AC Temp Fan switch located on the AC Dryer canister.
Auto Trans Fan switch located at the trans in the fluid return line (although I'm not sure what MY this was fitted).
All others are sensors used by ECU's and Temp guage
