Default Werks Reunion - Amelia Island, FL - March 9th, 2018

Registration is open for the Werks Reunion at Amelia Island. Happens during the week of the Amelia Island Concours D'elegance. I'd love to NOT be the only 928 in the corral there this year

Will your son's 924S be there? It deserves to be seen...

Bumping this to remind everyone that Amelia Island is THE east coast event of the year...and less than 2 weeks out. Four days of auctions..all the major houses are there; RM, Gooding, Bonhams, Hollywood, etc, a spectacular cars and coffee that takes pretty much all day to see, Werks can kill a number of hours if you're mono-focused on one marque, and the one of the biggest concours events in the country that takes another full day to see. a few pics from the last few years..

Hope to make it to the C&C and see some of the 928's at Werks, but my focus is on the auctions and Concours. I'll be hanging at the concours on Sunday either around a 356 speedster racer in blue or an 83 March in Red Lobster livery.

I was just told they located 1983 original Red Lobster swag to go with the car, So you should be able to pick me out of the crowd. I was told I will be wearing Red Lobster hat and shirt from the 80's.

You can't miss it.

Bringing anything unique this year Drew?

BTW I recognize that blue car. LOL

Sorry for the slow reply! My 14 year old (turns 15 on Sunday!) is looking forward to showing off his 1987 924S next year at the event. We have SO MUCH to do to the car - not the least of which is reuniting the engine with it (after we do the tear down, inspect and re-seal of the engine).

Since he'll be 15 on Sunday, I am NOW officially on the clock with him (and his grades better come up ) It's going to be a beautiful car with the 3M Gloss Blue Raspberry vinyl wrap, a neatly put back together interior, some old school Alpine stereo amplification, noise reduction throughout and a blingy engine with Yellow Zinc hardware, everywhere!

Hope Werks and Amelia C&C lights a BIG fire under us both.

See some of you there with my 1990 Grand Prix White 928 S4.

Cheers!

Holy Mother of Pearl Batman!

Or

It

Drooman...

You are risking the fact that Bob Snodgrass is clawing at his coffin lid to get out, rise up, and Crush that Car!

Don't forget the trailer trash yellow 1937 Cord 812 Phaeton...

And remember the Sebring Mud Sharks... "Broken hearts are for A$$holes"
