Hi folks,
Im on the hunt for an air filter box that fits a 4.7L Euro/Row engine. I had one scoped out on Ebay Germany but it looks like shipping is domestic only. I contacted the seller about international shipping but Im still waiting to hear back. I really just need the lower portion of the box, but will buy the whole box, top and bottom, if that is how it's presented to me. The part # is 92811022901. Here's a link to the one I need with photos. https://www.ebay.de/itm/Porsche-928-...-/122687966732
The lower portion of the box is unique, in that it has the round opening to accept a MAF like the later models, and it has the air sensor bung like the later models, but it has the 8mm captive bolts like the earlier 16V versions. Ive exhausted all the options I can think of so Im hoping someone has one stashed away somewhere and would be willing to part with it. Thank in advance and Happy Holidays. Josh

I actually just acquired a used one from a nice gentleman in Germany. It looks to be in good condition and the price was right. Thanks for checking Roger and Happy Holidays.
Oh, there's a lot to see here. I might have laid eyes on this lower airbox this morning . Of all the 928 motors, I don't think there's anything cooler than the Twin dizzy EuroS, fed with a MAF.

Me too! I love these engines. So clean and simple.
BTW....Josh was walking by one of my junk carts and there was a perfect lower housing sitting on the very top. The one I found laying around (that is on the engine in this picture) has a crack.
Once we tracked down the two injection problems, this engine ran today.
