Default Wheel question

Will these fit my '85? They are off of a 944.

Thanks again.

Nice looking wheel and they will fit but they do not have the correct offsets

Thanks, Fred. That is what I am trying to figure out. I don't have access to my car right now, and I don't know the width of my stock manhole covers. The 8" are the same, the 7", not so much. http://www.944racing.de/wheelweights.php

Some folks are quite happy to run with incorrect offsets and do not report any major issues but I take the point of view that anything less than Porsche specified defeats the entire point of owning a Porsche but that is me but then many owners never get anywhere close to the edge of the envelope or so I suspect and on the streets that is not unreasonable.

So if the stock ET is 65, then you are saying that my stock wheels are 16 X 7. The ET of 52 for the 8" in the ad match the 928 8" manholes. I guess the question is whether the front wheels being 8mm further outward will be noticeable. Regarding the tire sizes, I haven't selected any yet. I am just considering the wheels in the ad, which all have 205-50-16s on them (unfortunately).
