Yup, you completely missed the point.

I don't have a bearing in hand, I'm rebuilding my torque tube on Saturday, the "bearing store" is closed. I can call Roger or Mark today, have the proper bearing arrive by Friday, I'm good to go with my project on Saturday.

Why do you have to make everything so flipping complicated? You have offered ZERO help in this thread, nadda, zip, zilch....except being negative.

The information that the replacement bearing is an off the shelf item is ZERO help?

I dint't miss the point, saw where you were taking it. Now if someone doesn't want to make the TT job go into a week day or take the effort to go to their local bearing supplier to match what they have then, by all means order it online and pay the shipping from a 928 vendor. As much as I like and do support the 928 vendors, I also like to support my local economy too.

Thanks for the help folks, Rodger was very helpful and quick to reply. Didn’t mean to create a topic that ended up swerving so for off topic.

OP, keep in mind that the Rubber on the original bearings gets hard over time and is also a wear item as it keeps them in-place.
Another great reason to put in Black Sea Super bearings, easy enough to do at home and save on "rebuilding" charges
