So I’ve been chatting with a friend who knows the owner of the car. He was telling me that the car was never registered in the USA, but then how is it possible it has a registration sticker and inspection sticker on it? I’m kinda lost on that.
I’m going to see if she sells it to me but if she does I’m going to make sure she puts it back in the garage because that sun is beating it up!
After this long and since it’s a Euro model what is the red tape some of you know that is necessary to get going after 14 years of sitting?

As long as it's not in California, next to nothing.
If it was "federalized" when it was first imported (and it almost had to have been), then there will be an importer tag and sticker inside the door jamb.
Even if it wasn't, it's going to fall under the '25 year rule' and you should be able to register it with little hassle.
Cali has very strict smog rules and makes this rather...
Challenging.
But with Texas plates and stickers, I'm going to guess it was registered a while back.
Getting it running will be 'a whole 'nuther thing', though.

Keep us updated! It would be a great project car for someone with lots of time (& cash), who likes to work on these cars!
Best thing about that interior is that it looks all original with no missing components, plus that color of pasha fabric is still available! And your dash could be recovered in leather & be accurate. (If you can't tell, I'm a little jealous of those facts, since mine is the opposite)
Photos & more photos required, especially if you buy it!
