Default Stuck Oil Pump on an 86

I have an 32 valve 86 5 speed and I am in the process of many maintenance items including a timing belt with an oil pump reseal. The oil pump leaks at the shaft... the problem I have is the pump is stuck in the block. I have removed the bolts and used a pry bar against the belt gear and nothing. Even putting all the pressure I could on the breaker the pump didn't move. I am at a loss and need some help from the experts. What is the best way to get this pump out? Are there any tricks? Also should I also replace the pump given all the pressure on the pump shaft?

Removed all three of the bolts?

If so, the only thing holding it into the block is an O-ring.....unless some idiot "slathered" it with silicone sealer.

all 3 bolts are out.... since gasket sealer was used liberally on a few other things I am fearing the worse case.... crap this thing is probably put in with form a gasket.

There's not much gap so if it's canted, or pulled at an angle, it'll jam.

best bet use two pry bars opposite each other, use equal force so you dont bend the oil pump shaft.
NOTE remove the rear timing cover first so you have a place to pry on

Wednesday is the earliest I can get back to it. I am going to put the bolts in and snug them to see if it needs to be reset then try again. I have the timing bet covers off as I also need to replace the front main seal. This car is really fighting to stay in the grave....

This is what I do when they are stuck due to the suction effect and some corrosion setting in.

Get a small hammer and a block of wood or a wooden dowel and gently tap on the pump bolt mounts and flanges as to ROTATE the pump in-place.
Just a bit each way, back and forth, back and fourth taking your time, as said it is a tight fit and if not square in the block it will bind up.
I'd never pry on the Gear or that shaft, I'd be too afraid of damage to the pump, remember its the housing that is stuck, not the internals.

I just spent an hour and between using the wood and in the end whacking the shaft the pump finally came out. Ther is some pretty heavy corrosion and I bet that is why it started leaking. Any ideas on how to clean up the area to ensure a good seal? I hit the corrosion with some cleaner and it feels smooth but I am concerned it will return.

Btw I am ordering a new used oil pump.

use DC 111 on the O ring and the seating surface this will stop the corrosion ,
use STP oil treatment to fill the gears of the new pump,

NOTE make sure the outer gear has the dot facing the block or the pump will seize.
